Junior Interior Designer

An Interior design or spatial planning graduate who has a good sales background and a creative flair with strong experience in the necessary design software and MS Office.


You should have a track record of great customer service and converting leads into new orders. A key aspect of this role will be to service our retail clients in our showroom.


As the position will be of key importance within the organisation, the successful candidate will need to demostrate the ability to effectively plan and organise the workload and product quotations / presenations in a timely manner.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Reporting directly to Design Director
  • Drive sales of a variety of products in the showroom (including furniture, lighting & accessories)
  • Thinking creatively to contribute/product new ideas, design artwork and concepts for presentations and marketing materials such as brochures, leaflets
  • Undertake client appointments at home and in the showroom
  • Handle new retail furniture an lighting enquiries; maintain excellent customer relationships
  • Produce designs and quotations for presentation to clients
  • Be competent with Sketchup / AutoCAD / Photoshop and MS Office
  • Be competent in using our internal systems of CRM, Trackers on Excel and other such
  • Continuously updating product knowledge to enable to provide high quality customer service at all times
  • Serving our retail clients in store or over phone/email

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 2 year of relevant experience in sales or design industry
  • Design or spatial layout graduate
  • IT literate, proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook plus Sketchup / AutoCAD / Photoshop
  • Must drive and have use of own car
  • Ideally, you live within a 10 mile radius / 1 hour commute to Northwood, HA6
