You should come with a proven strong background and more than 3 years' experience in interior design for private residential, developers and show home clients.
Furthermore, strong FF&E experience across a broad spectrum of price points is important along with strong spatial awareness skills and attention to detail. An advantage if you have detailed knowledge of fabric and wallpaper companies. The ideal candidate must be proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, AutoCAD, Sketchup and other 3D modelling packages.
Ideally, you would have some knowledge of residential furniture & lighting sales, with some experience of UK and European (Italian / Spanish / Portuguese) brands; this would be a distinct advantage but is not essential. In house training will be provided.
The successful candidate will be expected to provide background evidence of working on projects from inception through to completion.
This description reflects the core activities of the role but is not intended to be all-inclusive and other duties within the group/department may be required in addition to changes in the emphasis of duties as required from time to time. There is a requirement for the successful candidate to recognise this and adopt a flexible approach to work. Job descriptions will be reviewed regularly and where necessary revised in accordance with organisational needs. Any major changes will be discussed with the successful candidate.
